Aqua Oyster Fungi Bowl
In a recent exploration of the movement of clay around a hexagonal form, these beautiful wavy edges began to emerge, creating this lovely new shape, reminiscent of oyster mushrooms. Enamored with this unexpected discovery, I enhanced the form with color and pattern to create a series of Oyster Fungi Bowls.
This one features a bright matte aqua glaze leading to a pink, red, and aqua pattern on the interior floor. The aqua on the edges fades around the exterior, leading to another pattern surprise underneath. It rises off the table on a tripod of textured feet.
It is 4” tall and 8” in diameter.
