Fluted Mugs

I recently had a request to make some throw-back DSP mugs from a customer who has been enjoying their fluted mugs for at least 15 years. This is a style I made during my gallery days, and it was fun to revisit it. And I made a few spares in case others wanted to enjoy these once again, or for the first time.

There are two styles available: Glazed Flutes, and Unglazed Flutes. The differences between them are subtle. Mugs with glazed flutes are shiny on the bottom portion of the mug, and they’re smaller (3.5” tall and 3” diameter). There are only two mugs with glazed flutes available. The rest have unglazed flutes, so the bottom portion of the mug is unglazed, leaving the matte look and dry feel of the clay itself as a feature. They are slightly larger (3.75”-4” tall and 3” diameter).

These mugs are available now and will ship within 1-2 of purchase. Shipping cost is $10 per item. Free local pick-up is available in the Denver area.

Every piece of Decker-Smith Pottery is hand-made, so expect very slight variations from listing photos.
